Fed Monetizes the Debt...Financial Nuclear Winter to Follow

The road to hell is paved with good intentions, the Fed monetizing $1.2-trillion dollars unilaterally this week obliterates any chance this mere recession won't turn into a Weimar Republic death spiral.  Look at the dollar in your pocket it isn't worth the ink they wasted printing it.

Monetizing the debt dooms us all.  A fiat currency only works if demand exceeds supply, not the other way around, Congress, the Fed and President Obama are spending a trillion dollars they don't and will never have every single month.  The inevitable financial nuclear winter will surely destroy the United States.

My advice?  Be a pessimist.  Buy MRE's, canned good and bottled water because you can't save or invest your money above the quadruple-digit inflation that's sure to follow.  Stock up on ammo, tents, sleeping blankets, and lots of maps, forget bunkers you're going to have to learn how to follow the food.  Get a good compass, once the whole thing collapses handheld GPS units will blink out like our civilization and the fools who depend on them.  Get a good hunting rifle, double-action pistol, machete, Bowie knife and lots of ammo, buy a good fishing rod and lots of hooks and lures.  Stock up on good hiking boots and thermal camoflage clothing.  The end is near, as a matter of fact it's knocking on your door...

Turbo Tax Tim You're No Alexander Hamilton

Given the historic nature of the first American "Road Trip" President, you have to wonder what or when any real governance occurs in the Obama administration.  Appearing on Leno, or at campaign rallies semantically relabeled Town Hall Meetings is all well and good for a Senator or a Congressman because there are 500+ other Congressmen and Senators to keep their hands on the wheel of governance while one of their own dilly-dallies willy-nilly and poses for the press like a trained barking seal.

The President on the other hand has no such safety net for devoting every single day to yet another ginned up excuse to preen and puff mightily.  Yesterday Obama the Munificent was so busy with the work of cocktailing and hobnobbing he ended up thanking himself for throwing a St. Patrick's Day party for the Irish Prime Minister because he was reading the wrong speech on his teleprompter.

Now had the great Satan, G.W. Bush done that, the media would have been all over him, yet once again the Great Prevaricator gets a pass because he leaves rose petals in toilets as far as the media is concerned.  Nor are they concerned with the dog and pony show of feigned outrage over AIG bonuses that were specifically excluded, and legislatively protected by Obama's stimulus bill, which suits his Royal Blather just fine because $165-million is a much better number to concentrate on than say the $53-billion dollars of bailout money AIG shoveled to foreign banks and foreign hedge funds.  An inconceivable waste of taxpayer money which would lead the average potato in a field to opine it might have been better spent on actual Americans.

When will the fawning media reach the angle of repose and fall on their backs like Kafka's bug?  When will the metamorphasis occur that strips the imagined new clothes from the emperor?  Already moderate Democrats are running for cover from the socialist stupidity of universal healthcare, nationalized business, punitive ex-post-facto taxation and bailout 2, 3, or 4 the administration slobbers to accomplish.

The Jimmy Carterish odor of his Barney Fife Secretary of the Treasury is the first crack in the crumbling edifice of One Term Barry.  Today Obama had the Audacity of Dope® to compare Turbo Tax Tim to Alexander Hamilton, let me paraphrase Senator Lloyd Bentsen here, "Turbo Tax Tim, you're no Alexander Hamilton and while I'm at it Obama you ain't smarter than Jefferson, Adams, Monroe, Madison, Jackson, Lincoln, Roosevelt, Wilson, Coolidge, FDR, Truman, Eisenhower, JFK, or Ronald Reagan."

My Personal Obama

I have a liberal guardian angel on my shoulder, he's my personal Obama.  While he hasn't parted the Red Sea or raised the dead for me he has given me hope.  Not the warm and fuzzy hope a gun permit gives you, no this is light and fluffy hope, a hope that shimmers like a mirage in the desert, that flutters its wings like a hummingbird and darts to and fro like a woodchuck.
You might ask what this hope is, me and my personal Obama would share a laugh because we know trying to define hope is like pulling the wings off a butterfly.  It can't be done.  Personal Obama hope is anything and everything that makes you feel good when liberals all around you gnash their teeth and wail about imagined plights and figments of politically correct angst smacking against the windshield of your life, splatting like green goo-filled June bugs of despair that your wipers might smear but never remove.  Unless of course you have a personal Obama, like me.

Sure some of you are snickering because you suspect my personal Obama is full of hooey, delivering nothing more than a nostrum of homily, bromides, and soporifics but that's OK because my personal Obama has a vision, albeit a vision that requires a great big glass of failed socialism and communism smashed together and whipped into a frenzy of cult-like pudding that you could spoon feed liberals from here to eternity and they still would bawl like a hungry infant pulled from a frothy teat.  Too much of my personal Obama's vision is sadly never enough.

Sometimes I think the only thing better than having a personal Obama would be having a personal Dr. Seuss but then I realize everything Dr. Seuss said rhymed and after a while that would get really, really annoying.  So all in all I hope other conservatives like me get their own personal Obama who will give them hope, lots and lots of hope, hope in a box, hope on a rope, hope in their socks and hope in their soap...

Audacity of Hope, Paucity of Content

Our founding fathers dealt with a monolithic bureaucracy hopelessly corrupted by special interests that brushed aside the will of the people for the whim of a privileged class.  They fought the Revolutionary War to restore individual liberty unfettered by the tyranny of the minority, the template they left remains an eloquent device to insure lex majoris partis remains a bulwark against the vicissitudes  of history.

They rejected the notion government has any standing in our homes, speech, churches or wallets. Their bedrock assumption that government that governs least governs best echoes sentiments echoed throughout history and resonate today.  Liberty isn't platitude or boilerplate it's a living breathing birth right born of blood spilled on countless fields throughout our history.  Liberty, a doctrine nourished and guaranteed for all by the Declaration of Independence, Constitution and Bill of Rights, supercedes all others.

Conservatives today face the same monolithic bureaucracy  unleashed by a government where the tyranny of the minority trumps the will of the people.  Where special interests shove the individual aside and corrupt every representative in every office.  A government that spends without limit and a bureaucracy that replicates in breadth and scope unimagined by our founding fathers, uninvited by those strangling under its yoke, cannot and will not endure.  Conservatives cannot stand idle while the false idol of liberalism consumes our democracy and excretes the very socialism, fascism and Marxism we spilled the blood of patriots to defeat since our founding.

Audacity of hope with a paucity of content is no substitute for our conservative core beliefs assailed at every turn by a leftist media driven to replace our democracy with a godless, amoral, secular pollacracy that panders to the lowest denominator and expectation of our great people.  A media that prefers the electorate vote for an American Idol than the American ideal.  It is the wolf in sheep's clothing that permeates and pollutes every election leaving a disgusted electorate the choice of two rotten evils rather than the best and brightest 300 million people can offer.

Thucydides wrote 2500 years ago states are better governed by the man in the streets because intellectuals want to appear smarter than the law and are more impressed with mere cleverness and a desire to show off their intelligence than abide with just laws.  Conservatives must understand government takes it does not make.  Big government is a hinderance to individual liberty.  The expectation welfare trumps self reliance, socialism trumps individual initiative and needless intrusion in all areas of life provides a better outcome than hard work, is delusional at best and treasonous at worst.  Individuals must be allowed to fail, and rise from the ashes, a government that pads every corner creates a nation of risk averse people unsuited to face the hard consequences of equally driven adversaries who seek our utter destruction.

We must fight to restore one man and one vote as the core of our democracy.  We must drive special interests and lobbyists from the Halls of Congress as ruthlessly as Jesus drove money lenders from the Temple.  We must demand a return to governance that means the protection of our borders, peoples and states not a welfare state that allows our homeland to fall to twenty million illegal aliens without firing a shot in defense of our democracy.  We must repudiate government for special interests and commercial ventures.  The government is not a charity.  It cannot be all things to all people without bankrupting itself.  Corporations are not citizens, they should pay their own way as surely as any individual does, no governement should build stadiums, pay subsidies or condemn private property for commercial gain.  They should pay their taxes in full, why should taxpayers pay for their tax loopholes and deductions?

Government must cease spending for spendings sake.  Earmarks, pork and needless bureacracies must be eliminated.  Let the marketplace that demands such goods and services from the government to pay for them in full without fail.  Stop all indirect taxation like federal tire excise taxes from World War Two that are still collected.  Gas, cigarette and other hidden taxes should be repealed.  Limit government spending to what it collects.

Eliminate the Federal Reserve.  The United States should not pay interest to a private corporation controlled by banks to print its own currency.  No bailouts.  Period.  Succeed or fail, nature abhors a vacuum even in a capitalist structure.  The right to succeed must be balanced with an equal right to fail.

Social Security and Medicare funds happily looted by Congress for the past half century must be restored in full, those collected currently and in the future must be seperate and untouchable by elected officials.  They cannot be trusted as stewards of finance given their overwhelming evidence of the short-sighted pigheaded greed in wasting trillions of dollars looted from taxpayers on the promise to repay in retirement.  Social Security and Medicare are not entitlements they are obligations to the people who paid them.  The same with trying to artificially raise the life expectancy of ouyr citizenry to delay paying those benefits.

Restrict government funding of education to reading, writing, arithmetic and science, if a school wants to teach anything else let the local school district and its taxpayers bear the entire expense.  Teach those four things well and the literacy as well intellect of our nation will thrive.  Unrestricted governement funds for every hairbrained scheme cooked up by tenure corrupted teachers unions are not guaranteed in the Constitution nor should they be borne by the taxpayers.

Conservatives face their finest hour.  President Obama is not a failure of our ideals he is a symptom of sytemic collapse, a collapse that is reversible.  These are the times that will try the conservative soul.  A clarion call to action against those who worship a failed ideology, who stand on the slippery slope of moral relativity.

We must redefine our opposition to their policies for what they are, abortion isn't about a right to choose, it's an African American holocaust.  While only 16% of the country, African Americans account for 35% of all abortions, 455,000 dead each and every year.

Define climate change for what it is, Chicken Little-ism, the sky isn't falling, nor is it superheated, no science, studies or facts support any of the climate change nonsense pedalled by liberals.

Contact your elected officials frequently, remind them of their debt to represent your view and the steps you'll take when they fail in their elected obligation.  Hold them accountable for spending.

Take a stand before liberal fascism, political correctness defines your opposition as divisiveness, hate speech and partisanship.  Do not temper your values to accomodate liberals.

Contact your newspaper, radio and TV stations when they espouse a liberal ideology or bias.  Make them respond to their constituency.  We are the majority, we will prevail and in time tell our grandchildren we did not shirk our patriotic duty.
